Following the MNC Open House, guests are invited to dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly-renovated Memorial Amphitheater. The Support Foundation recently completed an upgrade that cost over $900,000 and was made possible by donations from the public. The improvements maximize the use of the amphitheater and allows for greater value and use of the land. The upgrades provide permanent seating for 500 guests attending large-scale events and funeral services, updated ADA walkways, and new environmentally-friendly landscaping to the Flag Assembly Area of the amphitheater. Miramar National Cemetery staff will be hosting an open house. You are invited to the cemetery to interact with representatives from the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and Vet Center. They will be on cemetery grounds to answer questions about VA benefits and pre-need determination of eligibility. Additionally, there will be several local Veteran Service Organizations there too!
