America 250: A Tribute to Service and Sacrifice
When: Sunday, May 24 at 1 p.m.
Where: Miramar National Cemetery
Join us for a special program to honor and remember over 1.2 million American men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. At Miramar National Cemetery, there are over 30,000 veterans and their families interred. While on the hallowed grounds, attendees will be able to visit the Memorial Walkway, POW Liberation Memorial, and Veterans Tribute Tower and Carillon.
The ceremony will include keynote speaker, CAPT Steven “Shep” Shepard, USN (Ret.), with music by Westwind Brass; Bugler; Bagpiper; and more. The ceremony is open to the public, free to attend, and there will be plenty of free parking.
